Bhutan: Day 6

This was going to be a long day of driving (6 hrs) but first we visited a small school in Phobjika Valley. It's always fun to visit schools and bring some gifts. Nima, our guide had set this up ahead of time base don our request before we arrived in Bhutan. We got to the school just as the kids where "pledging allegiance".

There is a video of the song they sang in my Three Schools movie on this web site.

Besides bringing school supplies like rulers, color pencils and other things, we also brought a Fuji instamatic camera so we could give the kids pictures of themselves.

It was fun to see the entire classroom shaking the instant pictures to get them to develop faster.

Everyone got a picture of themself.
