Bhutan, one of my favorite places in the world. You can't beat the beautiful scenery at the foothills of the Himalayas. It has a rich mixtures of animist/Buddhist traditions which permeates every aspect of life in Bhutan. To get there you take a flight either from Delhi or Bangkok. The flight from Delhi is much better since you flight right over Everest.
