Uganda Day 5&6
After one night in Ishasha (which I wish we stayed for 2 because i liked tent living) we were off for another short drive to the northern end of Queen Elizabeth's park and the Mweya Safari Lodge.
Mweya Safari Lodge
This is more of a typical large lodge. It has a great location on a bluff above the Kazinga Channel with lots of elephants, hippos and crocodiles on the other side. And a nice pool for us humans

At night we had a hippos eating on the lawn in front of our room and in the day time we had wart hogs all over the grounds.

We spent two nights here since it was a good safari location for a variety of animals and a good place to go for a boat ride along the river.

At the entrance road heading to the Lodge was a really great looking souvenir shop. Uganda doesnt really have too many of these shops so when you find one with lots of good stuff you need to go and look. Leo ended up buying a few things here.
